How We Can Pray




If you will be consistent in prayer with a heart concerned for those far from God, then you will begin to see people as God sees them. Pray with confidence that God hears us and desires to respond.

  • Ezekiel 11.19 | Pray that God would give them a heart of flesh

  • Ezekiel 36.17 | Pray that God would put His Spirit within them

  • Matthew 11.28-30 & John 14.6 | Pray that God would call them and they would come to Christ

  • Acts 16.14 | Pray that God would open their hearts to believe the gospel

  • Romans 6.17 | Pray that God would free them from the slavery of sin

  • 2 Corinthians 4.4 | Pray that God would remove Satan’s blinding influence

  • 2 Timothy 2.25-26 | Pray that God would grant them repentance

  • Romans 10.14 | Pray that you will be able to develop a relationship with them

  • ‍Matthew 5.16 | Pray for opportunities to serve them

  • Colossians 4.2 | Pray for them faithfully and persistently

  • Ephesians 6.19 | Pray for boldness in generating & taking opportunities to speak the gospel

  • 1 Corinthians 3.6 | Pray for other believers to encounter them




  • Share the Gospel                                                           


Colossians 4:3-4 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.

  • Give testimony (share our story) to our neighbors, friends, and family.         


Acts 4:20 For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard."


  • Show guests love and kindness                                                         


John 13:34-35 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." 

  • Connect our friends, family, and neighbors to the Ridgeview community.


Acts 2:46-47 "And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved."
