Ridgeview's Response to Coronavirus

For the time being, Ridgeview Church will not be having a public worship service. We are having Ridgeview at the Park every other week until  God opens the door for us to gather again.
What does this mean?
This is a challenging time but God is not surprised and I think there is an opportunity in our current circumstances to serve and love those around us. Whenever we're faced with a crisis, we have a tremendous opportunity to show the difference following Jesus makes.

At Ridgeview we can...

  • Choose faith, not fear. If you follow Christ--we are not people who shrink back, but we choose faith over fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind."  Power, love, and a sound mind all work together.

  • Choose love and compassion over judgement: Like the verse stated above we can choose to love people and have compassion on all those around us. People are facing the unknown and because of this they are scared and confused. This is an unprecedented time, but again, for those who follow Christ--we can extend God's love through a smile, a helping hand, and being slow to judge.

  • Take care of our health. We love you and we want everyone to be in good health. For practical ways to do this, check out resources from CDC.

  • Stay Informed. Check out updates from World Health Organization to stay informed and to find tips on health and wellness.

Here is how you can connect with Ridgeview in the coming weeks.

While we will miss seeing each other on Sunday, we can still connect and must still work together as a church...

  • Connect with us online:

    • Watch our worship service here: Ridgeview Online

      • 10am each Sunday

      • Recorded service will be available by 10am for you to watch at any time.

    • Check out our YouTube channel for weekly services here: Ridgeview on YouTube

    • I know that many of you have been investing in and inviting your friends to Ridgeview.  Having online services will lower the barrier to check out a Ridgeview Service.

  • Attend a Home Gathering

    • Watch and worship with others in each others homes. These Home Gatherings help us stay connected  and at a time like this, it's important to not isolate ourselves unless we are sick. Check out a Home Gathering near you and learn more: Home Gatherings

  • Pray and Take Initiative

    • Share prayer requests with your friends at Ridgeview; send texts and call each other so we can stay connected.

    • You can also submit prayer requests here: Prayer Requests

    • If you are restricted and need assistance getting to the store or need help in any way, please let us know through the prayer request form above.

  • Give to Ridgeview: While our services will stop for a few weeks, our opportunities to serve and keep Ridgeview moving forward continues. You can Give Online or send your offering to us: Ridgeview Church, PO Box 2065, Fontana, CA 92334.
